The game remakes the cartoon, Family Dog making the main character a dog. This game is Part of the SNES-Files making it One of the Unknown Games. Not many people heard of this game because of its quickness of being in the store and out before you could blink.


Story

Family Dog remakes the cartoon and telling the story of a dog. As it begins the Dog lives with his owners, complete insane people who try vacum, kill and eat there dog many times. The dog plays with the older boy, getting into trouble like play catch with plates or like throwing bomerangs. But when the dog doesn’t catch the plates or anything like that is when he was sent to the Kennel of Love for life. (In other words a rough dog shelter.) The dog escapes and get free. It runs to the woods and gets away. After the long journey he........

Graphics

The game in many ways looks just like the cartoon. I wouldn’t say that the graphics are superb but they are....how should I say....fair. Most levels and screens are side-scrolling screens. Some, however, can move up. The levels are okay but could be a little better.
The levels such as the woods, the kennel and so on are pretty good comparing to the other levels. I think though that it might need some touch up on it.

Music and Sound

The Music is still okay. The music is actually better than some games. All like electric keyboard kind of music. Most of the music is from the cartoon.
The sounds are very good! As you are paying your can hear noises and things. The jumping noises and runing are good too. I like the noises best about the game. It sounds like noises from the cartoon.

Thoughts

The game overall is fair. The graphics arn’t that good and so is the music.I don’t want to me mean or anything but cartoon was a major blowout and so was the game. I honestly
think that Nintendo was running out of ideas. It was in stores and out. I recommend that if you are the true Nintendo player try this game, but if you don’t like cheap games don’t go near it. This game is very hard to find. They do not sell it stores and most renting stores don’t have them either so.... Good Luck.
