Mario's Time Machine

"Mario In Time"
-----
Intro
-----
Mario's Time Machine is one of the few Mario games that few people like to talk about. Even Super Mario Bros. 2, with its original game being Doki Doki Panic with Mario characters integrated in, was more a Mario game than this game has ever been. This time around, Mario decides he wants to meet famous people throughout history in order to teach us some things we may not know in an attempted fun way.

Story - 10/10
-------
Bowser is up to his old tricks once again. This time, however, Bowser gets high tech and travels back in time. While visiting various historical points of the world, Bowser steals different artifacts from their respective periods. It's up to Mario to travel to Bowser's castle and return the stolen artifacts to their proper periods so that the world's history can play out normally.
Yes, Princess Toadstool is safe for one game.

Gameplay - 10/10
-----
Mario's Time Machine is probably the most radically different mainstream Mario game out there. Unlike in other Mario games where you jump and bounce on an enemy's head, no enemy from the other games appear here. In fact, there's no enemies to fight period!
Honestly put, Mario's Time Machine is simply an educational game under the cover of a Mario game. Basically all there is to do is visit the time periods, find necessary information, and fill in the blanks of history so the artifact can be returned.

Replayability - 1/10
-----
Once you beat the game, there's no incentive to replay. Unfortunately, this game is pretty much a one time deal in terms of playing it.

Overall Opinion
------
Mario's Time Machine is a decent enough game. There's nothing special about it and it probably won't fill you in times of boredom. In all honesty, I would recommend this game to only die-hard fans of the Mario games. Otherwise, there's a lot better chance this game will come off nothing short of boring to you. If you ever found this game in a store's bin for sale and you think of buying it, don't pay over $3 for it, and that's being nice. If you are more interested in and looking for the more traditional Mario games, you'll come out of the deal disappointed.
