Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Super S: Shuyaku Soudatsusen
Review by CrazyTeddyX
"Sailor Moon Super S - The best game that brought back memories."
Yo, my name is CrazyTeddyX, and I'm a host of this part of the show. Basically what am I gonna need to do is we're gonna review Sailor Moon Super S. It's Sailor Moon Super S, son! This game reminds me of watching Sailor Moon. In Story Mode, you only pick one of 6 Sailor Scouts and battle all of the Sailor Scouts, but you can't fight yourself. In Versus Mode, you can pick one of 10 Sailor Scouts and battle a friend or your opponent. In Tournament mode, you can go head to head with a friend or other opponents. The graphics look pretty good and it has such a good soundtrack. There are 10 Sailor Scouts. We got Super Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus, Super Sailor Chibimoon, Sailor Pluto, Sailor Neptune, Sailor Uranus, and Sailor Saturn. My favorite Sailor Scout is Sailor Uranus. She is the best character in this game.
On the button configuration/stage select stage screen, you can select any stage you want. Press select button, and you'll be taken to the ACS/Ability Customize System screen.
For example: Choose the bottom left and press A couple of times and you'll make your health go higher.
The Story mode is where you select one of the Inner Soldiers and fight the other soldiers in a row (you cannot fight yourself). Your opponent will be played by a computer of course. After you beat them all, the game will restart and right before the intro, the character you selected will appear on the screen and say something. Once you shut off your game, memory will reset.
While fighting, you can select special options such as make your opponent clumsy so their magic will mess up and you can make it have infinite time until you defeat your opponent! And you can also increase/decrease your character's attack power, defense, etc. Before you start fighting, there is a attack selection screen where you choose which buttons to do what attack. At the bottom where the dashes are, click left or right. That way, you can perform magic easily just by pressing L or R along with A, B, X or Y. There's also a cheat where in the last 10 seconds, press both L and R at the same time which launches a VERY special attack. Be close to your opponent so the attack hits them!
Another mode is where you select certain characters (you select by Japanese names, not pictures) and then have them fight in a tournament. The one who wins and goes to the top of the triangle will get recognized by Tuxedo Mask and they have a long conversation (skip it if you don't know Japanese).
I'm a give this game a 9.5. Awesome gaming!
