"Simple yet so very addictive"

This game is one that a person could easily get scared away from by just playing it for a few minutes. But one thing is certain, once you get into it you never lose your interest.

Gameplay - 8/10

During the political, world map play in this game you have many different choices of actions such as economical, military, diplomatic, or just looking for information. This leaves room for many different diverse choices on how you want to build up your army to take on the rest of the territories.

During battle the gameplay is rather simple, with how well your commander is at battle (basically his battle stat) and how much of each unit compared to your opponent you may have. The grid is fairly small but leaves room for some strategy.

Graphics - 6/10

If there is anything that I would have changed about this game it would have to be the graphics. This game's graphics don't even fit up to my standard for an average SNES game. But I do feel that it gives the game it's own retro NES spice.

Sound - 9/10

The BGM in this game just makes me want to wage war on my neighboring medieval country, not so dynamic but oh so catchy.

Controls - 9/10

Not so hard to play, with it being a turn based strategy you have plenty of time to decide what actions you want to take and learn the controls. With the confirm action message for almost all the actions you take it allows you to stop a undesired action that you may have mistakingly pressed. All around good controls.

Replay Factor - 10/10

This game is addictive if you get into the concept of it. It will leave you wanting to try many different things with the 16 different beginnings you can choose from.

Overall - 8.5/10

This game is pretty much nonexistent to most people, but people who may have got their hands on it back in the day such as me have played this game and continue to enjoy it. This game leaves me wishing it had become more popular so I could play my friends with the two player option, but alas I have yet to have anyone interested the same way I am.
