"Funsauce! Great job Enix"

Well Done! The first Action RPG I've ever beaten! Great system of magic and leveling up, blue hair on the hero (of course), and a decent storyline!

Graphics 9/10
Not super-duper 3D graphics but very good for the SNES. Great job on multiple sprites moving all over the place going crazy. Good moving sprites, no choppy movements. But if you use a gameshark to walk through walls there are a lot of glitchy out-of-place land squares and what-not.

Sounds 8/10
Great music and sounds. Great way to gasp when you get hurt. Great swishing noises when you swing your giant sword. All in all, the sound effects are pretty good but the music is also really great, as repetitive as it is.

Game Play 9/10
Very good way to make a game so it's not to hard to beat but not easy enough to just tramp through the whole game with your eyes closed. No cheap attacks to kill everything in the entire game, and no worthless attacks that you're never ever going to use. You will pick a favorite magic to use more than others, but you will use them all at least once throughout the game.

Game Difficulty 9/10
Like I said in the previous paragraph, this game is not ridiculously hard but not stupidly easy either. You will have to concentrate through the game to win but you will not have to be totally obsessive beyond belief.

Game Time 10/10
Perfect Time! The difficulty blends perfectly with the time of this game. Exactly the same level! Probably about 10-15 hours of hard work or about 20 hours of playing and just having fun.

Brain Usage=Very Little.
You will barely use your brain at all throughout this entire game. The only time you will ever use your brain is to figure out a strategy to beat the bosses. You might have to use your brain to find special items and to think of how to press the Y button.

Fun Level 10/10
All the way through the game you will be doing fun stuff like hitting things. As long as you don't just stand in one spot and button-mash you will be able to have a great time doing this, but you'll have more fun going through it slowly and finding every single secret but you'll have to come back from later in the game to get ALL of the secrets.

In conclusion, this is definitely one of the best SNES games there are. The only downsides through the whole thing is...wait..there are no downsides! This game is flat out perfect! No matter what approach you take towards beating this game you will never get stuck anywhere nor will you ever get bored because it's too easy. The last thing I'm going to do is to sum up what I've said throughout my review.
1. Great time and difficulty.
2. Not a button mashing 6 year old game.
3. There are gnomes in this game. (Didn't I mention that?)
4. Great system of magic and leveling up.
Once again if you enjoyed my review then this is Sebbisismo!
And if you didn't enjoy it then my name is Bob and I have a very gloomy outlook on life!
