Kirby Super Star

"Nine magnificent games in one"

Many Salutations! This is my, Gyarados Scotty's, review of the best game starring the lovable character, Kirby. As you might have guessed, since you clicked on this review, it is Kirby Super Star. I consider this to be one of the most enjoyable games ever made and I bet after you give it a try, your opinion will match mine.

-What the Game is Basically About-
First of all, this game is actually nine games in one. I know what you're saying, ''Yeah, nine terrible games in one. Sounds great'' Well, you are wrong. Each and every game is better than the one before it, and you will agree as you unlock them. To brief you on a few of them, one game has a goal of breaking an entire planet in half! Another is about finding various treasures throughout an entire world. You have the option of playing with two players in all of the games, so it is extra fun. There are also 20+ different powers you can get for either Kirby or the helper guy.

-Visually Related Aspect-
After looking at the delightful visual attributes, you will recognize that this is a Kirby game. All of the characters utilize vibrant colors and have a nice, childish look, which I believe is excellent for games of the Kirby genre. I feel the backgrounds have a Super Mario World look to them which are superior to the backgrounds of previous Kirby games.

-Audio Related Aspect-
This game has excellent sound too! The music, I feel is quite simply composed, but feels appropriate virtually all of the time. The tracks are plentiful and the looping is done perfectly. The sound effects, like the graphics, are infantile, but it still is completely appropriate and still sounds spectacular.

-Gameplay and Control-
The gameplay and control seem like a typical Kirby game. Except it has certain twists. Good twists. For instance, the different powers each have their own special moves, something Kirby games have lacked. The normal controls are pretty basic after you figure them out. Left and right for horizontal movement, up to fly in the air. For Kirby, he can suck up guys and take their powers, which is very good, by the way.

-Challenge and Difficulty-
This game is really quite easy. Beating it doesn't take much of an effort, but it is really, really fun. You may die occasionally, but it will probably be minimal. The levels are always fun to repeat.

-Replayability and Length-
The replay value is high, but the length is pretty short. It can be beaten in about five hours, but you will play it for days at a time. Only be cause you will enjoy it so much!

In conclusion, I would like to say that this game is extremely, fun, like I stated before. I will give this game a well-earned ten out of ten, because it is so great!
