"Strange, stupid, yet addictive."

Total Carnage is a game that plays like Smash TV in ways, yet it's very fast paced and frantic. It plays like your typical shoot-em-up on an overhead perspective. The difficulty can get overwhelming towards the end, but it's a very addictive game. A very addictive game that you'll have a love-hate relationship with.
Gameplay: The gameplay is VERY annoying. Unless you have two players, it is next to impossible. The controls are hard to get used to, but with practice, you'll get it right. The difficulty is extremely high, especially later in the game, and the second boss will REALLY flip your noodle. Score: 3
Story: The ''Baby Milk Factory'' has taken it's workers hostage (along with a reporter in a ripped shirt) after World War III. You play Captain Carnage( Player 1) and Major Mayhem( Player 2), and you must stop the Boss's Army and rescue the hostages. All in all, the plot is straight forward, and is your basic shooter-story. Score: 5
Graphics: Graphics? What Graphics? Aside from the amazing between level movies, the graphics are, well, basic. Blood is green, soldiers are practically stickmen, and the bombs are glowing squares. The only thing that separates your character from the enemies is your shirtless, musclebound frame. The bosses are clearly HUGE, so huge it's embarrassing. Enough said. Score : 4
Sound: Buzzes, Beeps, and Bangs. This describes the games sounds. The one exception is the ''Total Carnage!!! ~Gunshots~'' at the beginning. The music leaves a bit to be desired too, with it's repetitive tune that gets on your nerves quickly. They could have at least had some ''war'' music somewhere. Score: 3
Replayability: THIS is where the game excels. The replayability will make you love this game twice as much if you have a friend who you joke around with, you will never get bored with this game. The frantic gameplay will entertain for hours. The only thing better than shooting millions of soldier sprites, is shooting millions of soldier sprites with a friend. Score: 8
Buy or Rent?: It depends. If your a person who likes to play video games by yourself, Rent. You won't enjoy this game for long. If your a person who constantly has your friends over to your house who enjoy franticly shooting things, BUY BUY BUY!

Overall Score: It's fun, but in an annoying way. It's annoying, but in a fun way. You'll enjoy this if you want to. Score: 6
