"Basically, one of the top games of its time, 10 years ago."

Hey again, this is another of my crap reviews for games. This time, i victimize Lagoon. But first, to make things fair, we must travel back to 1991, when the game came out.

Welcome, and now we are back in 1991. This is the time when this game came out. Now, we shall see the game in its finest glory. This way, we can give this as high of a rating as possible, we all like that, don't we?

Anything new?- Yeah, for this, there is a then and now for scores. Then compares it to games of its time, and now compares it to games such as Final Fantasy 8 and 9. I use a divison of then and now for the grade.

Gameplay- You are the child of light, you are destined to lead lakeland to destiny. The water is polluted, and that is where your adventure begins. Ok, not the greatest plot, but is does make for a pretty good game.

Graphics-The graphics are good, for the time, and do provide a realistic design. The game is mostly 2d, but you wouldn't want it to be 3d. Why? I'll explain later. Nasir, your character, is well designed, and his apperance changes when you have different armor.

Sound- Every game has its downfall. Frogger was its difficulty, Combat flight simulator for its sound. This game is for the same, its sound. The sound was from 1991, and then it was pretty good. I think that this resides as the ''Black Sheep'' of the whole game.

Replayiblity. Just about the only thing that you will want to do is wonder, ''How many ways can I defeat Samson?'', or,'' Can you really beat the game in one rental?''. But besides that, there is nothing to play over. No side quests, no nothing. But, the game takes a while to beat, so it's not so bad.

Difficulty- This isn't a very easy game. I had problems on how to get funding for your first equipment! Plus, the 2d mazes are very annoying. In 3d, I'd faint. Then, my next problem was the end. ITS TOO HARD FOR ME!!! But, some can beat the game. So, I can't rate it too high.

Final marks- This is a good game, with some bumpy parts, like you 3mm sword hitting 1/100ths of the time, but besides that, it's pretty good.
