Terranigma

"A rare gem..."

Terranigma is an adventure (self fighting system, like Zelda)created by Enix and it's the best adventure on the SNES. It's better than Seiken Densetsu 2 and 3 (very good games).What makes Terranigma better? It's the beautiful story, the great replay value and the great music!

Graphics 9 out of 10

The graphics are extremely good for the Super NES. High detailed worlds. I also liked the design of the main characters. The monsters are also good designed, the bosses are huge and mean. However the overworld doesn't look very good. These are the best graphics you'll get for the SNES!

Music and Sound 10 out of 10

The music is almost as good as that of Final Fantasy VI, and it's better than that of the Seiken Densetsu series. The music fits perfectly to the worlds you're walking in. There is also a beautiful sad theme, but what I liked most was the underworld theme, super!

The sounds are good, a slash when you hit something with your sword for example. The sounds fit perfectly with the situations it's played in.

Plot 9 out of 10

I have to mention something about the plot. It's the most original plot I've ever played. It's an unique idea of resurrecting the world and create it. This in combination with a beautiful love story, a rebellious main character, friends who become foes, and foes who become friends, talking with animals, plants, birds and so on. The end is very original and unexpected, oh it's so good.
The plot makes the RPG, and this plot is perfect!

Game Play-Fun 10 out of 10

This game is fun from beginning till the end. The story is very good and will take a grip on you. The monsters aren't annoying strong, so you'll never quit because of some strong monster.

And there are enough sub-quest. You can develop city's in all forms, you'll meet people of whom you can decide if you'd like to help them or not, it's all up to you. Game play is top of the bill.

Replayability 9 out of 10

Because of the idea of developing the city's the game is worth playing again. It has so many secrets! And for only the story you'll play it over and over.

Game Value 10 out of 10

I bought it for 30 guilders, that's about $10. But it is worth much more. You should buy it for every price if you can lay your hand on it. Terranigma is such a game you have to hunt down. If you liked Seiken Densetsu or Zelda you'll like this game even more!

Terranigma is such a perfect game, that every RPG fan should have played it. Everything is perfect. An awful story combined with the best music an graphic a SNES can produce. If you're ever able playing this game, you'll have to do it. This game is one of those RPG jewels on the Super NES. Every RPG fan should have this game
in his RPG collection!
