"Too bad there's no action"

Game play-If you can read Jap. you would probably enjoy this game more than I did. Its mostly text with a few options. This was a ROM on the satellite system only in Japan. There are battles but its all text. This is a text rpg like Shadow Gate or Deja Vu for the nes. If you want action this isn't the game for you. If the game was designed the way Chrono trigger was this would probably have been the best snes rpg ever. 5/10

Story- Chrono Cross's storyline was much taken from this game. You have some similar characters like Serge and Kid. Although I never beat the game I have read the entire script and I can see the relation to Chrono Cross. Go to Viper manor and get the Frozen Flame. Although some characters are very different in this game that in Chrono Cross. Lucca appears as well as some other characters from Chrono Trigger. Its more of an in between of Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross. In fact, if you go to Chronopolis on CC, Radical Dreamers is mentioned. The Story gets an 8/10

Sound- Probably the best feature in the game. This is a great reason to try this game. Much of the music in this was taken and put in Chrono Cross(of course its improved) like the battle theme and Kid's theme. If I could find a soundtrack I'd buy it. This game has some great music for an snes game.
I give it a 9/10

Graphics- Well, there isn't really anything but still pics. But these still pics are greatly done and is interesting to compare people like Kid, Serge, Gil, and even Viper Manor to what they did to it in Chrono Cross. I give it a 6/10

Replay Value- I don't know about this. Its like reading a book for a 2nd time. If you enjoyed the book very much than you might read it again.There are also alternate endings. The same goes for this, if you liked the story than go for it. 6/10

Buy or rent- You can't really play this game unless you go to Japan or download it. I guess for the majority the only way to play this is to download it. Find it yourself as downloading it is illegal and at your own risk. If you enjoy it keep it but if not you can always delete it.
