"OH DEAR GOD NO!"
Game Play-210
The only enjoyable thing about this game is that you get 20 continues. The game is incredibly difficult. In the options menu, I seriously cannot tell what the difficulty levels mean. Seriously, the names for the difficulty levels are just tiresome phrases. Is ''Super Cool'' supposed to mean easy or hard. The storyline is awful. You and the band ''Aerosmith'' are trying to save the world from the New Order Nation. I think that is what NON stands for. The NON's purpose is to eliminate pop culture. It makes no sense whatsoever. I bought this game because I wanted a good shooter. The only copies of the game that I could actually find are ones that used to be the ones that Hollywood Video used for rentals. It probably means that the gaming world is once again smarter than me. And your weapons are a gun that has you can upgrade, yet you cannot tell the difference, and CDs that you shoot at people. Were the developers high when they made this? I've had a Cd thrown at me before. Okay, a couple of times. The point is, they don't hurt. (Unless it's one of those cheap CD-Rs in the spindle. Those are built to shatter on impact) I needed those 20 continues, as the enemies in this game are extremely cheap. You are constantly faced with armies of NON soldiers who shoot rapid-fire at you, which chips away at your life. Then you have your vehicles that attack you, and cannot be defeated. Those tanks really make me mad. And the boss at the end of the second level (Which is a helicopter), is almost impossible to beat. It took me 12 continues to figure out where to shoot it next. You shoot off the missle launchers, and then it starts shooting fireballs at you. And yet on the box, this game says #1 arcade smash, or something like that. And yet people are willing to play something this terrible. Shame on them. If this was supposed to be a real arcade shooter, you'd have civilians not to shoot.
Graphics-710
The graphics are the only enjoyable thing about this game. They are substantially worse than Lethal Enforcers graphics, but they aren't that bad. All the enemies in the first 2 levels looked the same, though. Steven Tyles looks real, though.
Audio-1/10
There is like, no music in this game. Except for part of an Aerosmith song, there is no music. The sound effects are pretty bad also.
Fun-1/10
I definitely did not enjoy this game. I thought it was a hypercreative boring adventure. If you like shooters, then this game is not for you. This is definitely the worst version of Revolution X, and I have sympathy for the othrs who've had to endure this game.
Overall-1/10 (Not An Average)
This is one of the worst games ever made. This game, along with Hearts on the computer and Kabuki Quantum Fighter on the NES are among the worst games ever made. I am seriously not kidding. If the storyline actually made logical sense, I would have given this a three. If I really liked Aerosmith, this game would've gotten a four. If the music was good, this game would've gotten a five. If the game was more interesting and less difficult and has upgrades, then I'd've given it a seven. But, it definiely has to be a horrible game. If you have it, get rid of it. If you're stuck with it like I am (It used to be one of Hollywood Video's rentals, and it has ''Property of Hollywood Video'' carved in the back''.
