"Another good SNES shooter"

Graphics-8/10

The graphics are average. This game is different because it takes place on terrain that is actually not in space. (Neither was Darius Twin, to an extent) Like all of the other shooters, this one has 3-D backgrounds. But, the game doesn't have what it takes to top over Darius Twin, the king of all shooters. A lot of the places look really cool. Especially the airplane levels, which takes place in the clouds.

Music-10/10

I love the music in this game. Every single track is good, my favorite being Forest Fortress. Frontline Base is really good too. This soundtrack is one of the best game soundtracks of all time. But, it doesn't top Darius Twin's soundtrack. This soundtrack comes awfully close to doing that, though.

Sound-7/10

I don't usually rave about sound effects, but this one's no exception. The sound effects in this game are good, but average. There's nothing special in the sound effects department for this game.

Game Play-8/10

The game is different in ways. You have a plane, and money. When you beat the level, you use the money you got from the level to buy either a new plane, or weapons for use in the next level. The power-up system is a little confusing, so let me explain it. You get power-ups from certain enemies, and you get a main weapon upgrade when you collect enough power-ups. The number of power-ups to collect in order to upgrade increases with every upgrade level. And the level order plays like any game in the Darius series. You get to choose your path. This one's different because your path can be interrupted by airplane attacks, tank attacks, or submarine attacks. The game is also INCREDIBLY difficult. If you though the other 2-D flight shooters were tough, then this one is tougher than the other tough ones, of which in comparison are easy to the tough one. That probably made no sense to you, but try to think and comprehend it. (You should be glad I don't make grammar, spelling, or punctuation mistakes)

Replayability-9/10

Overall-8/10 (Not An Average)

If you liked other Super Nintendo shooters, such as Super R-Type and Darius Twin, then you should get this. This game has one of the best Super Nintendo soundtracks of all time. But, Darius Twin is better overall.
