"A 3-D RPG?"
Game Play-8/10
In some ways, this game is hard, and in some ways, this game is easy. Let me explain. There are only five stages. Yet, the stages are long and have no save points. What I mean by ''stages'' is levels, or dungeons. The game is an RPG because it has random battles, bosses, weapons and armor, towns, inns, and potions. If you like wasting one week straight, then this game is for you. Another good thing about this game is that you can have three characters and a spirit. A spirit is like a character, but uses the magic of the spirit's element. Spirits also heal themselves just by walking. You start out with one spirit, and you get the other three along the way. The game has only five characters. And the game has incredibly difficulty. You can also use cards to attack. You get an element card, and when you use that card, it attacks the enemy with the element of that card. My biggest complaint would be that the levels are too long. They wanted the game to be a challenge, but this is a big challenge. (When you have two characters in the Ice Mine, it's TOUGH) The characters also say something whenever you or the enemy misses an attack. The prices for items is a little high, because enemies don't give you a lot of money for where you are in the game.
Audio-6/10
The music is pretty bad. It seems like a lot of the music was done on a flute. The music does match up with the game well though. The sound effects are average. The music in this game does change from section to section though.
Graphics-10/10
This game takes advantage of the Super FX chip. This game is a 3-D first-person RPG, just like the Might & Magic series on computer. The game's textures are smooth, but it seems like there are some frames missing when you walk. This game has some of the best graphics on the Super Nintendo. The different sections look really cool and detailed.
Overall-9/10 (Not An Average)
If you have a lot of free time and you like RPGs, then buy this game. It is a cool game with impressive graphics. The polygons aren't actually ugly.
