"The Worst of the Butouden Series!"

Super Butouden 3 is the first import game I bought, and boy was I dissappointed when I compared it to the other Super Butoudens or Hyper Dimension, its still a fun game to play, with a lot of characters, along with a secret character, Mirai no Trunks (Future Trunks), it lacks the story modes that both other butoudens had, which was part of the fun about the other ones.

Graphics 9/10- This game has good graphics as far as technology serves, but it isnt as good as hyper dimension is, and it could have been better. Another thing about the graphics is (once again) the ki colors are wrong, Goku's should be blue, Gohans should be blue, not orange. Another nitpick, oh well.

Sound Effects 8/10- This game has some great background music. Especially the Mirai no Trunks theme from the other butoudens. However, they could have used his 16-bit theme instead, Hikari no Willpower is much better in my opinion. But considering the fact that it is only on a Super Famicom (Super Nintendo) I think they did pretty good. Also, they have good sound effects for attacks, hearing ''Baningu Attack!'' or ''Final Flash!'' just really gets you in the mood for battle, and when you hear ''Ka...Me...Ha...Me...HA!'' you know someone is in for a whoopin.

Gameplay 6/10- This game had the least playability out of all the other butoudens. There is no story mode, so that automaticly cuts your options down to playing with friends, or against the computer, and unless you have some really challenging friends, then it gets boring VERY quickly, and playing in the tenkaichi budoukai mode, which isnt as exciting as it sounds, you pick eight characters, they randomize the order you fight/play them in, and you fight until there is only one person left, and that person is the winner, only after that, you get to see the credits (which are weirdly done in english) The characters in the game are pretty good, you got SSj Gokuu, SSj Mirai Gohan, SSj Chibi (small) Trunks, SSj Vegeta, Majin Buu, Kaioshin, Dabura, Jinzoningen Juuhachi-Gou (Android #18), and the secret character, Mirai no Trunks. However, they left out a few of the characters that should have been in, such as Piccolo, or Cell, or even Mr. Satan (Hercule) However, the game is still pretty good with the characters they have.

Overall 8/10- If you are a hardcore DBZ fan, this game is a must, even if you arent, and you are just getting into DBZ, and you see this game for 50$ and below, buy it, if you dont even like DBZ, and want to play a good fighter, this is one of the best.
