Earthworm Jim 2

"Jims Back!"

Earth Worm Jim 2 is the unimaginative title to the very imaginative sequel to Earth Worm Jim. Jims first outing was fun and crazy and things only get crazier. Get ready you're about to enter the world of Earth Worm Jim.

-Story- the story set up is told at the screen that says NINTENDO on it. Jim tries to impress Princess What's her name by playing the accordion when Psy Crow taps Jim on the shoulder and kidnaps the Princess so he can become the king of all the universe. And of course Jim goes to get her back.

-Game play- Jim 1 had some interesting ideas and got pretty wacky at times. Jim 2 features even more than Jim 1 did. Jim returns with his basic moves for this outing but a lot has been added. First of all gun power ups. Jim 1 featured only one power up, in Jim 2 there's more than you can count. With things like bubble guns, homing gun's (they shoot houses), and Jims hand gun (His hand turns into a gun) you're gonna have a lot of fun. Jim 2 has some awesome level designs as well. One level will have you digging through dirt with a gun that shoots electricity while being timed. One will have you flying on a rocket bounces a hot air balloon bomb towards the boss. In first level you take a break from side scrolling action to climb stairs in a chair while grannies fall from above and if they land on you have to start all over. And yet another will have you inflate your head and have to fly while avoiding sharp objects. Every level in this game has a different style of play. Even though the levels aren't alike the games still easy to get into and the idea of each level can picked up easily.

-Sound/Music- Jim 2 is just as strong sound wise as the last game. Jim features a wide variety of cartoony sound effects and even some voice acting. The music also fits this game very well and is pretty good.

-Graphics- Like the first game this game has a lot going on graphically. Jim and his enemies all animate very well and have a lot of animations. (Jim's new idol animations are pretty funny but the ones in the 1st game where funnier for a change) All in all Jims graphics are very impressive in deed.

If you enjoyed the first Jim game then this is definitely worth a look. Or if you just enjoy action games then pick up a Jim game, or if you're looking for a funny game then pick Jim up. If you like video games in general pick up Jim. In fact get off the computer and pick up Jim right now.
