Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back

"Possibly the best out of the 3 star wars games!"

Almost (I say almost because I know some people who dont know what star wars is) everyone is firmiliar with the Star Wars trilogy. When I played Super Star Wars, I almost instantly fell in love with the game. But when this game and super return of the jedi came out, I almost had a heart attack, lol. So lets get on with the review and possibly have something to drink.

Graphics 8/10: Some of the best graphics I've seen on a SNES. Very detailed but some are a bit blocky. I thought the grpahics for this were great considering it was for SNES. The lightsabers look like the ones in the movie, the thermal detonators make HUGE explosions (like they dont) and Darth Vader's looks and attacks are superb!

Sound & Music 10/10: Ever heard a SNES gmae with a voice? Well nows your chance to hear it, because you can hear Darth Vader say some of his most famous lines! The music sounds like its right form the movie, and along with different tunes too that fit the game's atmosphere perfectly! Overall, great sounds.

Gameplay 7/10: Not that much big here. I would have given it a 5 but since you can ACTUALLY use the force in this game I gave it a 7 instead. The force powers range from invisibility, mind control, freeze, heal, etc. and it adds to the games fun factor. Great going Lucas Arts!

Secrets 5/10: Not that much is secret on here except for cheats but other than that nothing. So dont expect to play as Darth Vader or something, lol.

Replayability 6/10: Not that big here, I generally would play this on a rainy day or something but it differs from person to person. But you'll most likely beat it, then rarely play it again. So not that big replyability.

Story 9/10: I would have given it a 10 but since its exactly from the movie I gave it a 9 but its great to finally play the legendary movie. Also, dont think you'll find any extra plot twists that werent in the movie, lol.

Buy or Rent: Buy, I bought it and I never regretted it. But since this game is most likely very rarte, either rent or download the rom. You will not be dissapointed if you buy it though!
