"Make movies, pictures, and songs, all in Mario paint!"

Introduction: Mario paint, is a one-of-a kind game for the Super nintendo. There are other drawing games out there, This isn't the first, but after playing this, the others might seem just too simple. The fact is, there is a lot more to do in Mario paint, then to just paint. Now, on to the review.

Graphics: Well.. You can pretty much make your own graphics, in Mario paint. The games main graphics, witch is pretty much Icons, are ok.

Play Control: You use a mouse, in this game, and to My knowledge its the first and last, to use it on a super nintendo. One button does most things, And the other, Puts up the pause screen on the little mini-game ''Gnat Attack''. You most likely already know this, but I'll say it anyway. You move the mouse, on the mouse pad, to move the arrow. Yes, that bit of information sounds stupid, but its best to go in to, as Much detail as possible!
You can also change how fast your Arrow moves, from Slow to normal to fast.

Music: There are around three tunes to listen to while your Painting, Making music, ect. There all pretty good, but the best is Option-D, ''Off''. Ah, the sound of nothing! But the best part, is that you can make your Own music in the music area of this game. Using icons that make different sounds, like a Fireflower that sounds like a horn, or a Mushroom that sounds like a drum, or a.. Well, you get the point. You stick them on different areas, of a music grid, and make great songs! You can't make your songs, Very long, but it still seems to be enough space. You can, use your music on animation that you make, so you can add music to your movies!

Sound Effects: Not much. The most I remember, is the ''Hand'' Screaming when he's attacked on the ''Gnat Attack'' game. The rest is all, Ok.

Story: Well, there is no story. Just have fun. Make some animation, add music, put in some words, and make your own story!

Gameplay: Sheesh.. Almost too much to write.. This game has a lot to do. It isn't your basic Painting game. First things first, you can draw. Choose from, Small, Normal, or Large size pen, then choose from a list of colors and get to work. To make your time drawing faster, you can paint a whole area, pretty fast, with the ''Paint brush'' icon. Also, to make things faster, you can stamp in Already-made stamps, in your Drawing. Theres a lot of stamps, From Mario to Koopa, to an Air plane, to a car. Next, you can make your own stamps. Thats right, if all the Already-made stamps just arent enough, or if your just in the mood, you can make a stamp, and save it. Theres around ten save slots, for your stamps that you make. Next you can make music, Witch I already explained. And then theres, Animation. Pick from ''4'' ''6'' or ''9'' Box animation, and then start. Then draw your, stuff. Something that can really help out here, is the ''Copy'' icon, that allows you to copy something, and put it down somewhere else. Once your done, you can check your animation, and check the speed to set how, fast or slow, it goes. Then theres the mini game, ''Gnat attack''. Pretty much, a warm up for the mouse, Gnat attack is still a fun game. In it, you as the ''Hand'' holding a flyswatter, must defeat the Gnats, bee's, Wasps, flying bombs, and big boss, that fly around. Theres three levels, each has different color back-grounds, and different, back ground music, ((Level three, being the best!)). When you beat 'em all, you go through it again, and again, and again and.. Well, its still fun, and much harder then it might sound. Theres even, a text area in the game, where you can write stuff on the screen. The only bad thing about the Gameplay, is the Game memory, Since theres only one or two, Save slots for your paintings.

Challenge: How can you say how hard a painting game is? You really can't, the only thing I can say is that the mini-game, Gnat attack, is pretty hard.

Replay Value: Lots! The more you can think, of fun stuff to do, the more your'll come back to it. Theres so much to do in Mario paint, its almost endless, and always fun to come back to.

Final word: Mario paint, is a really great game. It could have been better with more, Save slots for your paintings, but its overall an awesome game. If you find it, it would be best to buy it, its worth the money, since it has some of the best Replay value of any game out there.
