Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back

Review by Da Iguana

"Only a Hardcore Star Wars fan would like this piece of junk."

Introduction
The Star Wars movies were some of the best I've ever seen. In fact, they are probably the greatest sci-fiction movies ever made. So how do you think I would feel if one of my favorites, The Empire strikes back was made into a video game? Read below to find out how the results were horrendous...

Graphics 2
The graphics are fuzzy and unclear, but at least you can see the colors that Luke is wearing as well as some of of his enemies. The backgrounds don't look that well either. The monsters look like some kid just drew them up with a crayon. Overall, the graphics are well below average. Oh and, keep in mind that the graphics aren't all that make this game one of my most hated.

Sound 1
lol. Sound? hahaha! As far as I know on ly two characters talk ( Darth Vadar and Yoda). I might of gave this category a 2 if there was a bit more dialogue. There is a few bleeps from Lukes lightsaber as well as his blaster gun. Basically, the only sounds are a few bleeps and blops.

Music 1
Theres only two or three musical themes which aren't even close to being as well as the ones in the Original Star Wars movies. The background music gets annoying after a while, and whoever composed this music probably didn't listen to the music in the movies very well. *wishes that the music wouldn't have been as lame as an Arron Cater CD*

Control 2
For some reason, the controls are hard to master and they probably couldn't be much harder. Nothing much to say here except that the controls are yet another thing that make this a horrible game.

Story 10 (for the movie)
What a great movie! The Empire is rebuilding the death star! What will the rebels do next!

Note: Watch the movie if you want the real story. The game has no story whatsoever.

Gameplay 1
All you do in this crappy game is destroy monsters and bosses until you get to Darth Vadar. How fun is this? It would've been a bit nicer if you had to crack codes and stuff. Thats just me of course...

Challenge HARD!!
I can't beat this game! *goes to internet for cheat codes* Wait a minute, I hate this game!
As you can see, this is one of the hardest Super Nintendo games I've ever played. Luke dies easily and you don't get very many lives.

Replay Very Low
Right now, my Super Empire Strikes Back is sitting on a shelf collecting dust. it will stay there until I decide to sell it.

Rent or Buy
Buy this game if you are a true blue Hardcore Star Wars fan. If your a regular person like me, then I'm warning you to Avoid this game at all costs.

The last line: Don't buy this piece of monkey dung unless your an absolute Star Wars fan.
