"If you thought the movie was exciting, check this out!"

Terminator 2:Judgment Day was one of many Schwarzenegger movies, possibly his best. Although his performance in both movies are debatable at which one was better. Terminator 2:Judgement Day has been overlooked and forgotten for many have come to love T2 the arcade game and left this game as its shadow. Though it may not be as thrilling as holding a gun and firing at the screen, it does have some fun features that kept me playing it over and over.

Story:
The year is 1994. Ten years ago Skynet had sent back a Terminator to kill Sarah Connor. Now Skynet has sent back another, but this time more deadlier than the last. A model that can copy a human organism and change itself to look like that human, and made of liquid metal can also form metal sharp objects. This is known as the T-1000(excellent acting by Robert Patrick, the terminator we often forget). Now he is out to find John Connor and annihilate him. But yet again a protector was sent to intercept, the Terminator model 101. The Terminator must save John as well as the world from the upcoming Judgement Day.

This game receives a 10 out of 10 for story. It was a movie and it was excellent since I'm a Terminator fan.

Gameplay:
The weapons you get to work with are much better than the arcade version. You're loaded with a pistol, shotgun, M16, and rotary cannon in efforts to stop the T-1000, who appears quite often throughout the game, and a few annoying police officers and some swat guys. Don't worry you don't kill them when they scream in pain. No human casualties may result in this game. So shoot away. You also need to ride a vehicle(whether it'd be a cycle, police car or van)to reach your next destination while cops are in pursuit. HAH! The arcade version doesn't give you that now does it!? As I've said before, it is not as appealing as to have a gun in your hands and firing at the screen while playing, but this game is still cool. This game receives a 9 out of 10 for gameplay.

Difficulty:
You're not given the option of how many lives or continues you have. This could be a factor of the challenge because it is hard the way it is. As a matter of fact you only have one life. That's right, one life! Your health is based on a percent rating. Wait you also get 50% extra after you lose 100% of your health with the exception of vehicle stages. Your health is restored to full after each stage completed. This game receives a 10 out of 10 for difficulty.

Graphics:
One of the few SNES games that I think had pretty good graphics. Everything is smooth and I'll tell you right now that no half-ass job was done here. It isn't choppy at all and a great deal better has been done on this game than the first one. This game receives a 9 out of 10 for graphics.

Sound:
THEY HAVE THE TERMINATOR THEME IN THIS GAME! IT COULD'VE HELPED THE LAST ONE, BUT THE CREATORS WERE LAZY! MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED! Anyway, the sound/music were excellent in this. For those who have seen the movie know that the music is excellent. Though I don't recognize all the other background music, that music was above average. The creators cleaned up the garbage the previous game left behind and put some good stuff in there. This game receives a 9 out of 10 for sound.

Replayability:
I have played this game many a time. I still haven't gotten bored of it. Fans of the movie will enjoy it and play it over and over. For you regular gamers, you will want to play it a few times over. This game receives a 9 out of 10 for replayability.

Buy or Rent:
Buy this game. If you come across this game, buy it. Do not hesitate. It is enjoyable and gives you quality entertainment for the SNES. I wouldn't buy it for more than $50. I don't think it is that rare that you can get it for a lower price somewhere else.
