Inindo: Way of the Ninja
Review by El Egg
"Fun and Long."
Story: 7
The story of Inindo is actually pretty good. You play a young Iga ninja who has been entrusted with the mission to destroy the strongest warlord in Japan: Oda Nobunaga. However, before you can hope to even stand a chance you have to train at the 10 dungeons around Japan to learn the arts of ninjutsu. That's pretty much it.

This is where this game really shines! During your quest you will meet tons of other people whom can become allies. People such as Sages, Ronins, Swordsmen, Iga Ninjas, Fuma Ninjas, Koga Ninjas and more. However, they won't just follow you because you ask.. Sometimes you have to visit the inn or tea house and talk to them awhile. Once you have found your two perfect allies (two is all you can have at one time) you might be ready for real war.. Oda Nobunaga has control of most of Japan, so getting to him isn't exactly easy. You will have to befriend another daimyo and ask him to attack the land around Oda's castle so you may enter. Once you have found a daimyo you like you can get jobs such as spying, or setting a enemy castle on fire (mwhaha). And then, when the time is right, you can ask him to invade someone and offer your services as a general in the war. When your not doing that and are wandering the land, you will have to rest every few days. However, a sleeping ninja is a easy target.. and you will be attacked by many people hoping to take your money. The same thing can happen and inns and tea houses too! You go in to get a drink and get a sword in your head. Now for the bad side: this game is long.. real long. Sometimes it can really make you mad because you have to level your self up alot.
Graphics: 8
There isn't anything really special here. The castles and villages look good and the people inside look decent. Battle animations are good enough to tell when you have tossed a fire ball at a enemy. While it don't have some of the best graphics, they fit well enough with the whole theme of the game to earn a pretty high score.
Audio:9
Great audio! The over world music is great as is the town music.. Battle music is pretty good and the sound effects are great.
Overall it has some of the best music in a Super Nintendo Game... don't expect a full symphony however.
Overall: 8
This is still one of the best games for the Super Nintendo.. even if it so painfully long. If you can find the cart I strongly suggest you get it and give this great game a try! Good things come to those who wait: So stick with it and don't quit.
