"Not the best, but if you like Blow-em-ups..."
URBAN STRIKE, yes that's it. Did you ever want a SNES game where you fly in a helicopter blowing stuff up? Well, then this is the game for you. Urban Strike is a fast paced Helicopter game with many missions and even more explosions. But don't let that cool you off! On top of that, there are numerous missions where you must rescue someone of great importance, or an innocent civilian! Get ready for Urban Strike!
Graphic 6- While not the brightest of the bunch, they get the point across. The graphics for most of the game are nothing spectacular (probably because this is a sequel, so it is not as good as the first one, Jungle Strike). The only thing that really shines are the in-between level movies. They are the high point of this game.
Sound/Music 2-This is the games major downfall. The game has almost NO music at all. It is sad really, and the sound is not much better. The hum of the blades spinning gets kinda annoying after awhile. Machine gun shots are pitiful.
But sound is not why you want this game, it's because of...
Gameplay 9- BLOWING STUFF UP. Oh yeah, one of the only SNES games that has you constantly shooting (and being shot at), it's helicopter trigger happy fun! And if that doesn't satisfy you, try rescuing a group of soldiers while under heavy fire from those rebel thugs. BANG, BANG, BOOM. Many missions also require you to do something special, like transport mirrors to a friendly ship in order to get the satellite up-link. It's just a downright fun game.
Story 5- Nothing special, you are hunting down a man that has been involved in some terrorist activity. Find him and kill him!
Difficulty 5- I gave it a five because the difficulty really varies from level to level. Sometimes it's very easy, just shooting little guys with their hand guns, and sometimes you are heading through rebel territory with missiles and rockets on your tail, but don't worry, you have quite an array of weapons yourself.
Where can I find?- Urban Strike is not a rare game, although it's not the most common thing either. Try your local used game store, and if no luck, try the net.
P.S. If you think you might like this, but you can't find it, try Jungle Strike as well, it is very similar.
Good luck to ya!
