Spider-Man & Venom: Maximum Carnage

This game is probably the Best Spider-man on Super Nintendo. It is at least better than Spider-mans game Separation anxiety in my opinion.If you like side strollers or beat em' ups this is a must have. Here is a plus you get to see Carnage. This wont even compare to the Spider-man the movie games but it cuts it close.

Game play - Like I said its a pure beat em' up. If that is not your thing than run away, far away. You can play as Spider-man or Venom as you would assume by the title. It is also a side stroller and that is the only way to put it! You have some help you collect little items that let you summon your hero friends. I give the game play 7/10.

Difficulty - This game is very hard. You can spend hours getting to a point and then get killed by one stupid enemy. This game also seems to go on forever. I have found that the game can be a little more easy if you pick Venom instead of Spider-man. I give the difficulty 6/10.

Graphics - Well it looks like a comic book put into game. When you hit some one you see POW and BOOM SPLAT you get the point. Most of the enemies look the same but that doesn't mean they look bad. Basically there is no fault here. I give the graphics 8/10.

Controls - As you would guess it is simple to grasp. You can jump, swing, punch, kick, make web shield,& throw moves. You wont get too bored with a variety of attacks like that. You can summon your hero friends with the shoulder button. The controller fits this game great. I give the controls a 7/10.

Sound - It sounds like something you would hear in a fighting game. The beat is fast paced and fits the game well. You will end up using webbing just to hear the sound it makes.
I give the sound 7/10.

Replay - Don't expect any multi player fun since their is none. You wont pick up this game after you beat it but it is fun until you finish. I never finished Spider-mans game but I finished Venoms. I give the replay 6/10.

This game is a little above average and is a great game if you like side strollers or beat em' ups. Overall score 7/10.
