"Not a bad fighting game, Bandai took a step in the wrong direction"

Let me just say this, SB3 isn't a bad fighting game, except after making an awesome title like the 2nd one, you would think this one would be even better. Unfortunately, it isn't. Bandai obviously took a step in the wrong direction with this one. My biggest gripe is NO STORY MODE. I can't believe they didn't feature that in this title, especially since they had characters from the Majin Boo saga already in the game, a story mode based on that should've been easy. Graphically speaking, this game is a little better, and the action is more fast paced. Another thing they had in the 2nd one and left out here is the cool combo attacks that you could use to kick, throw, or punch your opponent into a mountain, or into the ground. On to the characters-Unlike the 2nd one, you can play as Son Gokou without inputing a code. There's also Son Gohan at around age 16, Son Goten, Trunks, Vegita, Android #18, Doubler, Majin Boo, and Kai-o-shin. You can also play as Mirai Trunks with a code. There are about the same amount of levels as the 2nd one, including the frusterating Majin Boo spaceship level where your character's can't even fly. There's also a tournament mode, just like the 2nd one. One big plus is instead of charging ki for a minute to get it to full power, you can charge enough to pull a meteo attack in a few seconds. All in all, a good title although it didn't match the standards the 2nd Butouden had already placed.

Graphics: 9/10 (It's good for a SFC game)

Sound: 7/10 (it was barely noticable)

Control: 8/10 (about the same as the last one)

Fun Factor: 6/10 (with no story mode this game gets old quick, especially if you have the second one as well)

Overall: 7/10 (Basically, if you have the second one already, you're not missing much, but if you don't have any of the other titles pick this one up)
