Ys III: Wanderers from Ys

"Like an RPG trainer"

You'd think since this is a 3, it would be at least decent... you'd be wrong! I shutter at the thought of the other 2.

Graphics: The highpoint! The backgrounds and monsters are cool. The levels are well-drawn. I give this a 7

Levels: Almost too easy! Except for the very last level... You work up to that through simple levels. I give this a 5.

Characters: You hunt down a brother who appears to be working for an evil king. The sister's a little whiny, and the character I like the least is you! But there is some development. I give this a 7.

Music: Great at the end, after boring us to death. I give this a 6.

Story: Excruciatingly linear. I give this a 6 only for bad guy twists.

Overall I give this a 6. I think this is definitely way too easy. But at least the equipment is decent...
