Kirby's Dream Course
Review by silverhomer17
"The Marshmellow takes the 20 yard shot. He uses the stone, it could be, yes! It's in!"
Gameplay [9/10] - This game gets more and more fun every day you play. There are 8 different courses with different obstacles and abilities to use. The farther you go along, the more fun it gets. Every time you complete a course, you get a medal. It's fun and difficult to try and get gold medals on every single course. In the end, you will need to use different abilities to get new abilities, to get newer abilities, to get close to the hole. For example, there might be a small jump where you will use rocket to jump higher, then land on a wheel to speed across a small river to grab a rock, then stop on the hill and gently slide into the hole. But in order to get the hole to appear, you must hit every other enemy, then the last one remaining will be the hole. To get across the land, you can either Put (Roll) or Chip (Jump). I think they did extremely well for crossing Kirby with Golf. And when you get tired of playing by yourself, bring someone else in to play multi-player! With 6 different courses, with unique hazards, the fun will never end. In Multi-player mode, you can use your ability to harm your opponent. With Freezie, you encase your foe in ice. With Rocky, you squish them. With tornado, you send them flying. It's always fun to hit your opponent when they are right next to the hole.
Graphics/sound [8/10] - The music is excellent, and for a Super Nintendo game, they did a good job with the graphics. The detail on the enemies and the abilities that you can use is excellent, and the ground is in a convenient patter that you can use to your advantage.
Replay-ability [10/10] - You are never done with this game, and you never will be. There are so many things to improve on, and great multi-player mode. Fun for the whole family. This game will take a long time to master, and once you do, you can beat your friends with only jumping! If only my SNES wasn't broken, I would go play it right now!
Buy or Rent? [Buy] - Like I said, this is a game that you won't be able to beat in 2 days. I still haven't beaten it, and I have had it for about 6 years! This game is just too much fun to pass up.
