"Space Harrier Fans Must Play"
HyperZone is really a souped up version of the classic Genesis title, Space Harrier. It's a decent game with many different levels, the game play is the exact same throughout the whole game, the game never ends, you keep on winning the game over and over and no real ending. The game makes you use speed, timing, and split-second timing and instinct reactions. The game isn't hard by any means, there is a decent fun factor. I liked this game better than Space Harrier, and the different ships you become equipped with make this game fun. The fun part is you will have a favorite ship, each ship has it's own special attack by holding the fire button. Your ship will charge up and launch a big barrage of fire power. In the game you have to fight many different bag guys, the bad guys look very similar to that of Space Harrier. The game is only worth replaying because of the different ships, the music and graphics are good, and considering it was one of the first 20 games out for the SNES, it's a good one for it's time. Only recommended for big Space Harrier fans though. If there was more to say about HyperZone I would but it's a pretty one dimensional game. Still good game play though, graphics, and sound though.
