Inindo: Way of the Ninja

"GREAT IF NOT ONE OF THE BEST!"

You are an Iga ninja. And now you will start on your quest to become one of the heroes of Japan. Japan is waring back and forth and the year is late 1500's you the gun powder has just been intruduced and magic is know to those who wish to learn about it.

As an Iga you are being hunted down by Oda Nubanagu, the "ruler" of Japan, or as close to it as possible. Oda made his mistake by attacking the Iga ninja and turning his war for Japan against them. There are 3 other ninja types: Negoro, Fuma, and the evil Koga, who are friends with Oda.

With his almost invinceble army, he has taken control of most of Japan, you must get the help of other damiyos to beat his army and infiltrate his castle. The damiyos will not help you at first, and you can't get a job until your on level 15, and you can't get other team mates until your on level 7 which is not good. This game is a challange, I still have yet to beat it. I fear losing and don't like to either. I've been playing the game a little over 2 years now and still haven't beatin' it this is a game worth buying. The thing is I don't think that there are that many out so if you find it BUY IT! You have to go through dungeons to get magic while everyone else learns it by level, which can be annoying you could have spells that other ninjas don't and vice versa.

Now for the ratings:

Sound:9.5
The sounds and music of this game make it sound like a real Japanesse game. There is the great oriental music and then there is the great sounds. Well they aren't so great but they do fit in.

Challange: Off the scale (20.0)
If you want a game that will last you a long time this is your game! You could not rent it and beat it without spendign up to $100! It has taken me 2 or 3 years to get to level 35 and I still am not ready to beat this game! This has got to be the hardest game ever! You can't go to fast or your in over your head. But if you go to slow the game will end before you get to Oda. Yes there is a time limit! But a very VERY long one.

Also when you get "famous" you get attacked a lot by people who find you in the castles, which will get extremely old. First Sorcerors, then Ronins its a real hastle when you are waiting for the 30th to fight in a war. The inns rates will go up from 20gp to 30gp which is also annoying. This game is full of tricks!

Control: 5.9
You move in 4 directions and you can go slow average or fast. What is there to say about this? You just don't need to worry about control.

User Friendly:7.5
The main menu can be a hassle and you can't take back an option in battles so you can't mess up that much. But it doesn't really mess up your game play that much.

Fun: Off the scale (15.0)
You can always do something in this game, and it doesn't have to be just going through dungeons. You can go ply at a "Bingo Parler" in some places or become sadictic and damage some towns but you won't get bored easily, unless you just go through the dungeons.

You will love this game no matter who you are and I know that anyone who likes the Final Fantasy seires would love this game too. It just never seems to end and I wonder if it ever will...
