"Mega Man can play sports!"

Well, the blue bomber is back, and he's equipped with balls............soccer balls! You know who else is back? Mega Man's greatest enemy (no, not sigma), Dr. Wily! Dr. Wily takes over a soccer championship and Mega Man is the only one who can stop him from doing it. With the help of Dr. Light(the good Doctor), Mega Man creates his own soccer team, which is made up of A bunch of Mega Mans.

Gameplay 6
Unlike any other Mega Man, Mega Man doesn't use his trust buster gun for much. Unless I'm mistaken, he uses two hands in this game. Yeah so anywayz, there are a couple of different modes in this game. They are Season Mode, which lets you choose and control a team for one season. Theres tournament mode, in which eight teams battle it out. The last team standing in tournament mode is the winner. And of course, the story mode, which is sorta self explanatory. But a very big down side of this game is the ability to score. Don't Expect to score more than 4 goals in a game. The goalie on the other team could be sleeping and still have the ability to block the ball.

Graphics 7
The graphics are actually pretty decent in this Mega Man Soccer. The characters in this game are very easily distinguished. You can tell Guts Man from Woods Man, and Fire Man to Snake Man.

Controls 4
There isn't much originality here, the soccer controls are unbelievably similar to Nintendo World Cup, passing and shooting are single button deals. But there is a semi new feature in this game. The ability to clear the ball, but personally, I never used the clear ability. I just passed it, because passing in this game is unlike any other........bad!

Fun Factor 5
Mega Man soccer is pretty fun, but can sometimes get very annoying. The ability to score a goal brings down the fun factor waaayyyyyy down. I've never been able to score more than 4 goals in this game. Maybe I just suck, or maybe the game is really cheap.

Replay Value 1
There isn't much reason to replay this game, you don't get anything new. But thats how it always is with Mega Man games sadly. No secret characters, no extra options, no extra anything.

Overall, Mega Man soccer is a pretty decent game. You might as well just rent this game and beat it. I don't think it's worth buying unless your trying to complete a Mega Man Connection.

My Overall score for Mega Man Soccer: 6
