The visuals in this game are not bad, they are horrible. I think they should have been much better for a Mario game. This was definitely a step down in Visual graphics. Everything looked like a typical Mario platform game, but with very little detail added.

Audio:2

This is by far the worst music I have ever heard in a video game. The annoying beat just continues, it plays over and over again. The worst part is, that is pretty much the only song in the whole game. If anyone ever plays this game, they should mute their television before they go crazy listening to it. The music is horrible and there are only like 3 sound effects.

Story:1

This game's full story is given in the title, Mario goes missing. That's all, nothing else important happens in the whole game. A story like this should have never been used for a video game. Personally, I like the story from the very first Mario game was much better.

Replay Value:1

I commend you if you can even sit through this game, because I couldn't. The game is so boring that I don't think any people would play it for very long. All you do is go through different countries, answer questions, jump on enemies(that can't hurt you) and talk to people for information. Even if you could beat this game, there would be no point in beating it again because you would know all the answers.

Challenge:4

This game is pretty challenging for little kids, but if you are old enough to read, all you have to do is remember what you read and you won't have any trouble. Another reason it is not much of a challenge is because you can't die.

Fun Factor:1

I can't believe I sat through a whole level of this game. There is no way to die, not even when you fight bosses, I mean what the hell were the Producers thinking. This game is probably one of the most boring and not fun games that I have ever played.

Final Thoughts

This game was the biggest mistake of video game history. I always thought that all Mario games were good, but now I know that only all Mario games made by Nintendo are good. This game could have been good, if it was only made like a regular Mario game. I would not recommend this game to anyone, but if you decide to play it, remember that I warned you.

Buy it, bring it home, then smash it with a hammer. And I'm not kidding!
