"Super PaperBoy is Funny!"

PaperBoy 2 is a continuation of the NES classic by the same name. PaperBoy two features the same premise, you're a lowly PaperBoy trying to make it without getting fired from your job for a week. Only in this game you must survive three routes, and a week a piece. It's a tough battle through some really bizarre neighborhoods. Almost as weird as the real world. Some houses are common, others are just plain sick. One house features a moat, another house features a coffin in the front yard, and yet another house features two old nice people on a bench...Which of course you can knock over with one flick of the wrist and a trusty newspaper. At the end of each level you have an obstacle course which allows you to rack up extra newspapers and points. The game has a lot of scenery and site gags, enough to keep your entertained. All the different things you can discover going back and playing the different neighbor hoods make this game fun to play again and again. But the main problem I have with it is that you have a really lackluster finish. The game features a newspaper article that just reads a headline, just like the finish of when you go from level to level. But sometimes a game is better than it's finish which is the case here. I have replayed this game a lot, the further into the game you get the funnier and more interesting it gets. Save those passwords folks because the later levels make the game! Game play and graphics are similar to the NES version, sound as well. Good stuff. I like this game, I would recommend it to many people, but nobody who's obsessed with graphics and sound and wants to be able to have his game tell him his weight and what not. This is a classic game for the mischief gamer.
