Mega Man 7

"A Mega Man game that definitely needs some tweaking"

So, I rented Mega Man 7 in like 1996 or something and I was horrified. I played Mega Man X previously, and it was like God's dream. Now, I don't understand. When I was SIX, I didn't know there was a difference between X and Mega Man, but now it's all clear to me.

Gameplay 10/10

This is just like MMX, shoot stuff, fight a boss, get his weapon, use it on another boss. Seems boring, but it can be fun if you try to make it fun.
I was used to getting X stuff, but there isn't any... this is MEGA MAN! Also, Mega Man's running animation looks goofy.

Graphics 9/10

The graphics are great! They are very detailed and colorful (maybe a little to colorful). Again, Mega Man looks silly when he runs, but don't let that get your down, enjoy the graphics.

Story 8/10

Same old thing. Dr. Wily tries to rule the world. Does it ever change? This is the only Mega Man game I've ever played, so I didn't know Dr. Wily at the time. Again, I was used to Sigma.

Sound -666/10

UUUUUUGH!!! What happened? The sound is AWFUL! Mega Man's Mega Buster sounds a freakin' PEA SHOOTER! It's totally not good, and these sounds definitely mess with the score. Mega Man's explosion sound is the same, though.

Music 7/10

I Don't remember much music, but it wasn't as bad as the sound. No way Jose. It wasn't as good as MMX (HELL NO!), but it was alright.

Buy or rent?

It's literally impossible to rent, but if you see it at Funcoland or eBay or something, get it of your a fan. I wouldn't.

Overall

It's an okay game, but go for MMX if you can find it. But, it's a great game for fans. amen.
