"Bart's failing! Only you can help him get an A!"

After a couple of Nintendo outings, Bart makes his Snes debut with Bart's Nightmare. This game adds on the Simpson theme, and Bart has a variety of tasks to do, making this game much more than a side scroller.

Bart has lost all his homework, so it's up to you to track it all down so he can get that A+ he's always wanted. The main area is a street where all kinds of weird things happen. Fairy Lisa can turn you into a frog, and only and old ladies kiss will bring you back, and plenty of weirder stuff can happen. Hey, in Bart's dreams, anything is possible. When Bart sees a piece of paper and jumps on it he'll be able to enter one of the levels to get a page of homework. He can fight Itchy and Scratchy, be Bartman, destroy virii, destroy Tokyo as Bartzilla, be an Indiana Jones wannabe, and more! The varied gameplay will keep you busy for a while.

The graphics of this game are good, but not spectacular. Bart looks like he does in the show, but he seems disproportionate somehow. The music is good too, and you may find yourself humming it in the shower. All the multimedia this game has to offer really adds to an immersive Simpsons experience.

If you're a Simpsons fan, this game is for you. If you are, you should probably track this game down, as you'll probably find it worthwhile to buy. If you're looking for an excellent game, you'll probably have to look elsewhere, but this game is worth a rent at least.
