Spider-Man & Venom: Maximum Carnage
Review by SSmashBrother
"Paint the town red!"
This game, in my opinion is the best Spider-Man game there is, until Spider-Man 3D comes out for Playstation.
Graphics-
They were aiming for a comic book look and they got a comic book look
is what they got.Pow, bam, and other things appear when you are beating the
pants off a thug. They aren't anything to write home about.
GRAPHICS 8/10
Sound-
The basic fist hitting head sound. (thock) They also have pretty good
music from Green Jelly. It gets you in the mood for kickin' some bad guy butt.
SOUND 9/10
Control-
Pretty basic. Punch. Web. Jump. That's it.
CONTROL 10/10
Story-
Carnage breaks out of Ravencroft, an institute for the criminally
insane. He wreaks havoc. You save the city. Classic video game plot.
You usually have to save something in a video game.
STORY 8/10
Gameplay-
Beat the heck outta everbody in sight. My kind of game.
It is pretty fun too- well for a while. It starts to get more like a chore.
Like the 20 foot tall robo dog. And thugs with guns. Sometimes it
lets you choose between Spider-Man and Venom. It also has
many secrets to keep you searching. Have fun!
GAMEPLAY 9/10
Replay Value
You'll want to play this alot, surprisingly. I guess it is fun to beat
everything up.
