"Nice, I liked it"

Well, from what I can see, from playing the game so much. Is that it was an early SNES RPG. Its graphics arn't the best, and the battle system is well...it's not the best I've seen. But I will give the game something, It original. I have never seen another game like this one. I mean People on cards, killing other things on cards, it very original, and I happen to have taken a liking to this game. I will explain why now.

Graphics: 8/10
I will admit, the graphics are kind of old. But they are better than alot of older SNES games. You never get to see what your party looks like, except in battle, and thats a tiny pic. But other than that, I kind of like the graphics.

Story: 10/10
This game does have a great story. You are Rook, and your father is dead, killed by one of your friends dad. You wan't to continue the way of the Card Master, so you take your fathers last Magic Card, and train everyday to become a powerful Card Master, but the thing is, you are the last one. After you travel over the world for a time, being betrayed, and backstabed time and time again. You have to save the world, and you will need help. Trust me you will need help.

Controls: 8/10
Now this might take some time getting used to. A brings up your menu, and that is not normal for me. Even worse, you cannot change the controls. But it should not take long to get use to the controls. You will have to learn them quick if you wan't to make it far in the game.

Gameplay: 10/10
Ahh, what makes up the game. This game is a great game if you wan't a good challenge, cuzz this game is hard as hell. The first dungeon is pretty good to start out on, but then you get the Ice Mine, and then you die, plain and simple, becuase if you are not at crazy levels (like 15-16) when you enter the Mine, you will fight a battle and bearly live through it, and thats if you live through the fight. The Mine gets a little easyer after the get the third group memeber in your group, Axe. I know your saying to yourself ''Man, this game is crazy hard, why would I wan't to get this game?'' Well to answer your question, you would have to get the game frist. Plus I like the filling you get when you beat a hard game like this. And trust me, this game is hard. Good luck, you'll need it.

Music: 9/10
Nice, fits in right. Might get a little anoying from time to time, like when you are about to die, and you hear the music, and you just wan't to hit the screen.

Battle System: 9/10
Round, after round, you get the crap beat out of you. Well thats how it gos. And there is no real order in which your characters go, and that makes it alot harder to plan a battle. But I do like how the enemies move in battle, probley the first game I saw do that.

Rent/Buy: Buy
Hey have a fun time trying to find this game. It took me 5 years to find it, plus its a SNES game, and there arn't very many places that sell them. But if you find it (Good Luck) buy it, trust me its a good game.

Overall: 9/10
Nice game overall, good game to play if you really wan't a challenge. Buy it and have fun getting the crap beat out of you.

Well now that you know so much about the game, whats stoping you from playing it, well other than the fact that its so hard to find, but other than that play the game.
