"Unless you suck really badly, this game will satisfy. But for one round only."

For a game that's available on the Super Nintendo, this is one realistic game. There are two problems with this game though: Difficulty and Replayability. Get around them, and you'll have a good time.

Gameplay: 7/10 -- When you see Jungle Strike, you think jungle, right? You're going to be seeing that for a looooooooooooong time, provided you even make it past the first level. This game is hard. Very hard. Only hardened gamers will be able to beat this hell of a game without using cheats. I, unfortunately, am not one of those gamers, so if you aren't, you better be cheating, because you're going to running out of lives all the time. The controls, though, are pretty easy to pick up once you get the hang of it. It's just that damn learning that makes this game frustrating. Get around that, and you'll find this a pleasurable experience.

Story: 10/10 -- Flawless. No loop holes, plenty of terrorists, lots of jungle, and, for once, everything has a purpose. If it doesn't, press Select in the game and then, it'll make sense. The thing is, you must go into the jungle and destroy the madman's fortress there. His motives probably spoil the rest (Actually, I can't remember them.), so play this game and find out for yourself.

Graphics/Sound: 7/10 -- The visuals are pretty good for a SNES game, but the sounds aren't. There isn't any music except in the game's cut scenes, and the sound effects aren't exactly the best you'll hear on this system. They not bad enough to drive you crazy, but they can be better.

Replayability: 3/10 -- Once you beat the game, that's it. End of game. No secret levels, no hidden weapons, no unlocked helicopters, you get nothing once you complete the game. There's not even a multiplayer mode to keep you hooked. Maybe you might want to play through the game again to understand the story a little better, but other than that, I see no reason to play through this game again, other than blowing up those damned terrorists...

Rent or Buy? That depends... -- If you can actually find a place to rent this game, do so. Just make sure you either got cheats or you got skills, 'cause without them, you might as well buy it because you're going to be stuck on this game for a looooooooooong time.
