Spider-Man & Venom: Separation Anxiety

"Another Great SpiderMan Game!"

SpiderMan, he alone is one of Marvel's most recognized Super Hero's. Add to the fact that you can also play as Venom in this game, Venom being one of SpiderMan greatest enemies, and you got yourself a great mix. Not to mention you fight crazy insane bosses and get help from the likes of Ghost Rider, Hawkeye, Captain America, and DareDevil. All in all... this game is well worth it.

Story: (9/10)
The story for this game is good. Start off with venom having some offspring that latch themselves to some real insane people... creating some deadly symbiotes that are more than a threat. Venom suffer's some serious seperation anxiety after having the offspring and teams up with SpiderMan to help rid the city of these deadly Symbiotes. Add to the fact they have street thugs, insane Jury, and robots all gunning for them doesn't help matters any. And at the end of it all, you will have to fight the strongest of them all... Carnage, and he will come at you like there is no tommorow... so be ready.

Graphics: (9/10)
The graphics here are like a comic book... cartoony yet reallistic, and it works well. Its great to see all the nice effects your webbing can do and the animation on the levels and bosses are great, definantly pleanty of eye candy to glamour at.

Gameplay: (10/10)
You should never have a problem doing any of SpiderMan's or Venom's great moves... and it all flows rather nicley... only thing slightly wrong is the hit detection but even that is overall ok.

Sound: (6/10)
The game lacks here. While the soun effects are ok (grunts from thugs when you hit them, Beeps from robots when they shock you, etc.) The overall music isnt great. Corny guitar riffs and some elevator music gone wrong and thats about all you will get, thankfully sound doesn't affect your overall enjoyment of the game too much.

Diffuculty: (9/10)
You wont beat this without continues on your first time through, but after getting the hang of it it should be overall easy for you but still challenging.

Overall: (9/10)
If you love SpiderMan you will definantly have no complaints. If you hate him... well then why would you even think to play this game? But if you just want to play an overall good game whether its spiderman or not I can definantly reccomend this game... fun, fun, and more fun is what it offers and you shouldn't come away disappointed.
