"One of the best sports games of all-time"

Gameplay 10/10
This game was amazingly addictive and just plain fun. The control was simple, yet it would keep you wanting to play for hours. You had a choice of 8 running plays and 8 passing plays. That may seem boring, but sometimes the simplicity of a game is what makes it great. You could switch receivers with ease when passing, that was a real plus for me.

Sound 8/10
Well, you don't really expect a moving soundtrack on a football game now do you? Although, the sound effect and tunes in this game were catchy.

Graphics 8/10
Although these aren't the best graphics I have seen on an SNES sports game, they were good. I enjoyed the little profiles of players that came up when a big play had just been made. The bigger animations after a touchdown added a nice touch as well.

Replayability 9/10
This game kept me hooked for 3 years! Then I rediscovered it a few weeks ago and have been playing it since. You will really enjoy to go back to this one. The only complaint I have about this is that if you choose a very good team (Cowboys, 49ers), the game becomes very easy after a while. Just choose a bad team for an extra challenge.

Overall 9/10
I recommend at least a rent of this game to every fan of sports games. Even if you don't like them, this game is simple enough for someone who doesn't know much about football to catch on.
