"Stop the madness!!!"

Do you ever have one of those video game experience where you see a game that you thought would be cool, you buy it, play it, and an hour later you are ready to swear never to buy another game again? Well that was my experience with the Tick. This has got to be the longest, most repeative game in existence! The whole game consists of beating fifty bad guys, running a few game yards, beating fifty bad guys, running a few yards, beating fifty bad guys... You get the point.

Graphics: 8

The graphics are the games highlights. They are done rather well and all the characters look as they do in the show.

Sound: 1

The soundtrack in this game is the worst I have ever heard in any video game! First, you can barely hear any music at all. Second, once you finally strain you ears to hear it, I promise you'll forget about it within five minutes after you turn off the game. Oh, and the sound of you hitting bad guys is just plain awful, which is really bad since that's all you do in the game!

Controls: 4

The controls are simple, actually too simple. The only buttons you need in the game are punch and jump. You don't need to kick, you don't need to worry about throwing people, and you surely do not need to call Arthur to come swooping down to take out all the bad guys. If you do need his help, then maybe you shouldn't be playing action games.

Gameplay: 1 (too bad negatives aren't allowed)

As I have already stated, the gameplay is atrocious. The levels are long, the bad guys are boring, the objective is the same in every area, the backgrounds all look the same... I could go on forever. There aren't even any secrets
to unlock for crying out loud! Oh, and get this, there is no saving in the game. Yep, you read right, no saving. So unless you use the level select cheat, you'll have to spend a good six to eight hours to beat the game, which is impossible because you'll lose your sanity in half that time!

Buy or Rent

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah. Good one. Never rent this game, not even if you are a big Tick fan. And don't even think about buying it unless you want to pull a very mean joke on one of your friends by giving him this game!
