This game was released by Banpresto on 3/17/1995. i think Banpresto is the only company who made Super Robot War Game. This game was released on Playstation too. The real name of this game is Dai-4-Ji Super Robot Taisen, which means Super Robot Wars 4 or Super Robot Taisen 4.

Gameplay- 9/10. You know what, I think this game is the greatest series of Super Robot War. Furthermore, this game include almost every single robot from other Super Robot War series like NeoGranzon, Gundam, Mazinger, Getter, TaidanIII..... . Unfortunately, God Gundam units like Shining Gundam, Rose Gundam are not available in this game. This game is pretty easy since you would be able to defeat all the enemies with your robots. But, when you reach almost the end of the game, it will become extremely hard. In this game, you are given chance to create your own character. You can edit his/her name, blood type, personality and more. Ability of your main chacter is base on how you edit him/her. The control of the game is pretty simple. You only have to choose your unit, move it and attack the enemy. You are taking full control of all your units since there is no NPC unit in the game. Well, the only weakness of the game is you cannot make a combination attack like Super Robot War A and Super Robot War R on Game Boy Advance. Still, you cannot help your ally units to block enemies attack.The greatest option of this game is the encyclopedia option. The encyclopedia display and explain every single robot that you had seen in the game. Besides, there are some awesome soundtrack and great music in the soundtrack option.

Story -10/10. The story is about war between citizens on earth and citizens from outer space. You and your team is trying to stop this war. So your team must find some allies on the earth and join up to become a large team to battle against the enemies. Yup, all almost all the pilots and robots from the older Super Robot War will still appear in this game. They are Koji and his Mazinger, Shuu with his Granzon or NeoGranzon........ This game is great because it explains clearly about what had happened and make all the players can't wait to know the development of the story and beat the game. Sorry to those who can't read Japanese because there is only one version (Japanese) of this game.

Audio/Video - 8/10. This game's graphic is not as good as the playstation's Super Robot War 4, but the sound effect is quite good. So, I give it 8 upon 10. Still, you may feel that you are in the game when you playing it. You can imagine the powerful of the weapons because it looks real when your missiles or beam weapon hit your enemy. One thing, there is a encyclopedia in this game and display some cool graphics and soundtracks in the game. This game is impressive since the game was released on 17 Mac 1995, almost ten years from now, but the graphic is still great as a new game.

Replayability - 10/10. This point is the most important in every single series of Super Robot War. Since there are two endings of the game, I am sure that you will like to play this game again once you finished it. Besides, there are many ''crossroads'' in the game. You will be given chance to choose where you want to go. Every road has its own advantages and disadvantages. Choosing different road may get different robots and pilots in the game. This game is truly worth to be played again.

To buy or to rent? -Since this game is pretty old, I am not recommend you to buy a new one. This game is pretty hard to find too. I think you should buy a second hand disc from the one who owned this game. Renting this game is a bad idea because I am sure that you would not be able to finish it in short time. Still, like I said, this game is worth to be replayed. So, I think you should own this game.

Overall-10/10. I give full marks for this game because this game is even better than Super Robot War A , Super Robot War R, and Super Robot War Original Generation which were released on year 2002. I really love this game since I prefer story over graphic. Even the playstation and playstation2's Super Robot War graphic is great, I still like this game.
