Street Fighter II Turbo

"I feel cheated, because I bought 2."

Well, this is an upgraded version of 2 and nothing else.

GAMEPLAY 9

The gameplay is great. The controls move very responsively and smoothly just like SF2. There are, however, 12 playable characters this time. On top of your basic 8 from street Fighter 2 Ballrog, sagget, Vega, and M.Bison are now playable. This is what really frustrated me, because other than this, this is Street Fighter 2.

GRAPHICS 8

nice 2d hand drawn graphics. the characters look good. The backgrounds also look nice. The moves really stand out too, but there's no difference here from SF2.

SOUND 9

the sound is just awesome! Sometimes, most of the time in fact, the players will scream out tge name of their move like "Hdoukin!" or "Sonic Boom!"This is pretty cool. The background music is like a techno disco type mix. the sounds of the guys fighting are good, and the announcer says if you win or lose after the fights.

DIFFICULTY 4

This game isn't too difficult. You must defeat all 12 characters in their home town, wow! They're even in the same order are the first 8, and after you've beaten those 8 you face ballrog, Vega, Sagget, and M.Bison, in that order. the moves are easy and you won't e too challenged by this game.

REPLAY VALUE 6

The game has a good deal of replay value. you can fight a friend, or go on the quest type mode. However, this game gets boring after a little.

RENT/BUY?

Well, i bought this game thinking it was a new Street Fighter. I feel cheated now because if I own 2 I have bought the same game again practically. Four new characters is the only difference. If you don't own 2, for the love of God don't buyit. get this one. If you own 2, just be happy with what you've got. Four characters isn't worth the price of a purchase.
