Monopoly

"The classic board game is on SNES, but I'll take the actual board game anyday."

I got Monopoly at a garage sale for $10, and I am very sorry that I wasted so much money on it. It has none of the qualities that the board game has. Sure, it's Monopoly, with the same money and tokens and board as the real game, but there's something about the game being on a system that makes it seem very fake and phony. Other than that, Monopoly for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System is an averge game, compared to other SNES games that were made when Monopoly was.

GRAPHICS: They suck. The only thing good about these graphics are the background scenes whenever you land on property. But still, even these are bad, you can sometimes see the stuff making up the houses and hotels. It's a good thing that I think that the graphics are the least important category.

SOUND/MUSIC: In one sentence: what sound and music? There is no music, and the sounds are very meager, included in the game only where necessary. The only sound I hear are the ice landing on the board when you throw them, and that annoying cop blowing his whistle when you land on ''Go To Jail''.

STORY: N/A

CONTROLS: A moderately good point of the game. The only buttons you have are A, B, X, and Y, and these are relatively simple to control. A selects things and buys land, B selects things too, but also auctions off land, X brings up the overview menu, and Y doesn nothing. Pretty simple, I like them. Also, they tell you which buttons dop what, so you can play and not bother to read the instruction book, and do fine.

DIFFICULTY: Not hard at all. I can beat it in all of fifteen minutes, even on the hardest setting without cheat codes. Not a good difficulty system at all.

REPLAY VALUE: Horrible, just plain horrible. The game lasts
twenty minutes, and it's the exact same game as the last one you played. Horrid.

FUN FACTOR: Fun for the first ten minutes, but then starts to get boring and tedious. This is a truly not fun game.

OVERALL: Listen: DO NOT GET THIS GAME, even if someone offers you ten bucks to take it from them. I paid ten bucks for a USED copy of Monopoly, and it just plain sux. Do yourself a gigantic favor, and do NOT get this horrible game.
