"Much better than MMX2, with a TON of hidden stuff for your pleasure."

I wanted this game to recieve a 9.5, but CJayC says ''NO fractions,'' so I gave it a 9. Mega Man X3 branches further off into the X Series, with much improved gameplay and music than Mega Man X2. The C2 (3?) chip has returned for 3-D graphics and larger sprites. Are you ready? ONTO THE REVIEW!!!

GRAPHICS: Great. Great. Great. Repeat until dead... ack! I'm drooling... ahem. These graphics are (you guessed it) GREAT!!! Some of the best graphics that the Super NES is capable of. The C2 Chip has been added to the cartridge once again for 3-D graphics and huge enemies. Weapons are A-OK, the bosses look cool, and explosions actually send chunks of scrap metal now! Cooooool. (10/10)

STORY: Ugh. Still the same. Sigma is dead. Yes, dead now. Stop worrying. A city for Reploids had been recently built so Reploids that went Maverick had no one to hurt. Built by Dr. Doppler, a Reploid himself, the city was a perfect utopia... until he went Maverick and went after the headquarters of the Maverick Hunters. X and Zero must save the day... but is there a higher power behind this Maverick conspiracy? Yea, I know, it all ends up the same, and it isn't terribly original, but it is still okee dokee with me. (8/10)

GAMEPLAY/CONTROL: It is basically the same, but with many new aspects. You still beat the boss, get his power, and use it on someone else, but there's more. Zero is now a playable character. You can use him wherever you want, except at bosses and mini-bosses. The one catch is that he has only ONE LIFE! So you'll lose him forever! AAAHHH!!! The armor, Heart Tanks and Sub Tanks are back, but the new additions are Mech Armors and Armor Chips. You can have four different kinds of Mechs and use them in certain situations, if you find a MechSummoner Pad. Armor Chips increase one of your new armor pieces with new abilities, like the Double Air Dash. Very helpful... oh, control is great. (10/10)

SOUND/MUSIC: Much, much better than Mega Man X2. More rock and roll feeling, and more guitars. The tunes are memorable, and I always end up whistling to Blizzard Buffalo. Eeee! The sound goes ditto with its predecessors. (9/10)

OTHER STUFF:
-Players: 1
-Fun Factor: 10. Need I say more?
-Replay Value: 9. Much improved over the other MMX's.
-Rent or Buy: Buy it. Just do it. Nike... err...

Mega Man, you're my hero... Zero is my hero, too... if only he'd get a haircut... and if Mega Man would hit puberty... oh well, life goes on.

OVERALL: 9/10
