"Shiny game..."
Introduction
Being a not very known fighting game in a console which already had lots of this type of games made the life difficult for this game, but it should be payed some serious attention due to some impressive features it includes.
Gameplay
Once you get to start playing this game you will find in the options screen some selections which normally didn't appeared in this type of games (and even on this console), like the ability to control the visulization (or not) of some short FMV's and an option which makes you control if you want the special moves to be enabled or not. But why? Once you see your cyborg in the arena (yeah, you can't choose between him and other characters) you will notice that he can only perform 4 different attacks, I mean, punch (high and low) and kick (high and low), you can't get to see or perform special attacks, and the same goes for the opponent robots you get to fight with. They are not many (less than 10) but most of them will surely put you into trouble (even on the easy mode) since they are hard to beat. Between every level you will be able to see some small (but somehow nice) FMV's of the robot you just defeated and of the one you will fight next, and even before fighting this new opponent you will also be able to see some info about him, like his weak points, what he is good into or some of his skills, but I doubt this helps you a lot in order to defeat him, making it just another thing they added to the game.
Story
I don't think there's any, or at least it isn't much reffered to, in the game. You just get to fight some robots who were assigned some certain functions at a city and you have to defeat them all, but there doesn't appear to exist a story at all.
Graphics/Sound
The graphics look like the best ones I've ever seen in a super nintendo game, but that's it... The robots don't have many actions, try hitting one of them and they will always behave the same way, and the same goes for their sounds, which are always the same when they get hit and all that. Apart from that, the music in every stage is different but it still isn't good since it is a type of ''mechanic'' music which turns to be really boring most of the times.
Play Time/Replayability
You can finish this game in less than an hour (in the easy mode) if you are a skilled player, it will be harder (of course!) in the other modes but at least you can win some things in the end, but even this won't be a reason to keep you playing for much time.
Final Recomendation
This game is surely one of the best looking fighting games ever made for snes, but apart from that there isn't anything more that would make it more enjoyable or, at least, a nice experience.
