Jurassic Park

"Its frusturating at first, but youll love it later!"

This game is perhaps one of my most favorite games of all time.

So you may be asking why I gave it a 7 out of 10.

Story 7/10
-The story, is ok. Not to bad, but not to good. Basically, you play as Alan Grant, a paleantologist. The dinosours have escaped and are all around the island. Another thing is that the raptors are breeding fast, so you must collect all their eggs and retreat from the island.

GamePlay 7/10
-The gameplay is decent as well. You basically go around the whole island, collecting eggs. But you complete other objectives as well, such as turning the power back on to the island, collecting co workers idea cards to gain access to other areas of the level. It's very fun at first, but when your down to the last couple of eggs, it can get quite boring. Plus the fact that you cant save was somewhat stupid, but then again, it is a short game and takes an average of 5 hours to beat. When your inside a building, the game changes to a first person shooter, which is creative, but not all that good (more about this described later).

Sound 8/10
-Pretty good sounds and Music. It sets the mood, especially when your inside buildings, although I do wish they could of used different songs for different buildings, just like how the song changes when you enter different areas of the game. the music can help you out. You can tell when something bads gonna happen, or if your in a mysterious part of the island all by the music. Dinosour sounds are nice to, but dont go all that well inside buildings. the raptors jump, then you hear the sound. but ah well. oh and elevator music is really good!

Graphics 6/10
-The graphics arent that bad outside. It seems strange at first, since everything is a bit like clay, but you get used it. Inside the buildings, its horrible though. Everything is squarish and the frame rate is 2 frames a second! Seriously! But, this is quite handy. Because your bullets go at the same speed, unlike everything else. For example, a dilophosaurus spits on you, so I shoot it, and then move out of the way to avoid the spit, which still is nowhere near me. You get used to it, but sometimes you wish that it could of been more smooth.Its somewhat fun though...

Overall, you can see that this game has decent gameplay, bad graphics, and good sound. There are several ppl that wrote reveiws giving this a low score. They dont know what their talking about. The controls will be very frusturating at first, but in time, you will get so used to it.

Buy this game! You can get it for 5$ at your local gamestore.
