Review by HardKore ChiK

"Proof that simple games can be better than complex ones."

I can honestly wrap up this review in one word: ADDICTION. This game is simply the most addicting game I've ever played. Forget PS2, GCN, and Xbox they have the graphics, but no plot. This game just blows my mind away, completely, ever since I was in the 4th grade, which was an amazing 5 years ago, I've loved this game, if you haven't played it, buy it on ebay of something. This game is AWESOME.

Graphics: 10/10
For then, mind blowing and awesome. The cars, the tracks, the ice, water and all that other stuff. Perfect example of the old school game that get's the job done, and does it very well.

Gameplay: 10/10
I LOVE IT. The frames just slide into place, very smooth gameplay. It just has a nice feel to it, like the sliding in turns, they don't turn jagged like most of this systems games.

Control: 10/10
I love old games because of the simple button commands, and this is one of the reason this gets the ten. One of my other main reasons is the buttons ''make sense'', everything is what feels like the natural place for it. Great job on the controls.

Plot/Main Idea: 10/10
Some guy/girl sat at home and thought of just this basic idea: lets take a sort-of off road racing game, but make it, ''different''. This person seeming like came up with a real old school extreme game, not this mediocre definition of extreme games today. The idea of this game is kinda like Nascar games, you make money, but the points is your main focus in the game. There isn't a major story, but the game's addiction itself picks up for it.

Sound: 10/10
The music is old, because the game is old, duh. The old music just adds to the Rock N' Roll taste. They play roughneck Rock, for the roughneck game. The music totally makes a difference in this game. There is no playing this game with no volume, it's just not the whole experience.

Overall: 10/10
Cool, old school, roughneck Rock N' game. If you have SNES, this is a must have, very fun game. This game is just an addiction, you will not be able to stop for a while once you play it, because it's just such a different type of game. It's now cheap, there's NO EXCUSE not to have it.

RENT or BUY: Buy it, if you rent it once, you've already paid for it. If you can even find a place to rent it, buy it instead.
