George Foreman's KO Boxing

"George Foreman's name on a game? I'll try it..."

This is a boxing game released I'm not sure when but its in the mid 1990's. I found a copy of this game at a Drug... not a good sign I said to myself, but it was 5 bucks( Canadian) and I said to myself... it can't kill me... Plus I like to collect old games one more to my collection I guess.

Graphics:

They weren't all that bad. George Foreman looked like himself and so did the other boxers( at least I think, I never actually followed boxing that much). There's a crowd during matches and I guess they did a pretty good job for what it is. A game that people kind of looked over. The animation for punches and jabs were good enough, but they could have been better. I am judging this as if I was a the time it had just been released. 9/10

Sound:

There isn't much music, and when there is its weird music that gets on your nerves. During matches, you have the Fight voice which is almost obsolete. The crowd sometimes scream a variety of things including, but not limited to: ''kill him!'' . Good for what it is, but not great. There is also a bell at the end of every round. 8/10

Gameplay:

My mind is blurry but the gameplay isn't great it can frustrating, hard and sometimes impossible. The controls are iresseponsive and stupid. And blocking your opponent is hard. Of course I may be totally wrong on this I'll just give it an average rating. 5/10

Fun Factor:

This is were my mind isn't blurry. I had a hard timing actually sitting down to play this game more than 5 minutes. I found it to be bland, boring. Its the kind of game you play once then put it on your shelve for the rest of eternity. 0/10

Overall:

Because this game was no fun at all, I'd have half a mind to just give it 0 and be done with it, but because they had good graphics and sounds, and because I'm afraid George Foreman will hunt me down and kill me if I rate a game with his name badly( just kidding George :) ). So I'll just round it up to a 5/10 and let the reader decides if he wants to buy it or not.

If you see this game somewhere and its under 5 dollars or so, go for it! Buy it you have nothing to lose. But don't shell out more then 5$ for it.
