"The worse of the series - nothing new to offer."
Introduction
Final Fight guys ... so this game totally restricts females from enjoying this game? Why is it? Oh, nevermind. The game developers decided to include the ninja martial artist that has made allot of feature appearances in games such as Street Fighter. Guy is his name.
A person who dons the red karate gi, or ''pajamas'' which is sometimes dubbed by other people.
What this game is ... and overly used concept in which you move around in a pseudo 3D environment and beat up people. We know this is overdone because they made, uh, lets see: Final Fight I, Final Fight II, Final Fight III and finally we have this Final Fight Guy. The previous games where the game as ever, with limited fighting moves and the ever so endless enemies in which they try to beat you up in a street-fighting brawl.
Game Play
The game play is still banal and mundane. Monotonous tasks such as brushing your teeth and going to work because the game play concept is reused over and over again thus sometimes causing me to lapsed into nothingness when I mean this game. I dumbly stare at the screen before turning it off.
For those of you who haven't played this game, you get to select two guys then go fighting with limited fighting abilities in their inventory.
Come complaint I have is the lack of character selection in this game. The previous titles had taught characters and some made guest appearances such as Guy and this other chick. But instead this game features only two characters - Guy and this other dude ...
The enemies in this game don’t not vary, but rather they have the same character design except for pixel shades. The pixel shades determine the health bar of the enemies. The game requires no skills but the constant ''button smashing'' which is otherwise won't grasp the interest of an veteran gamer but it might perhaps entertain you for 5 minutes.
Conclusion
As you noticed I left out the graphics and sounds section in the game, because I mainly emphasize on the game play because it’s inoperative.
So this game ends up being the pile of other mediocre fighting games that exist for the SNES console and since I consider myself some what of a pundit I wouldn't recommend you to play this game because of the boringness.
I hoped they would provide me something more interesting but I guess not.
