AAAHH!!! Real Monsters

"Aaaaaaaaah this game sucks!"

AAAAAAAAH Real Monsters is one of those transform a show into a game types.Most of the time when a game is based on the cartoon show it usually sucks.If you've watched the show you already know this game is going to be bad.
Unfortunately,I liked the show and begged my parents to spend $50 on it.That is one of those things I regret.Here's why......

GAMEPLAY:(3/10)Not very fun gameplay.Sure it's an adventure game,but it isn't a good one.There are 10 levels of boredom and the point of the game is that you are taking a test
and you go around in different levels to find a sneaker.Is that a stupid storyline or what?Not only is the story bad,but so is the game.There is about 3 different levels in one scenario(like Mario)and each one is pure boredom.You can be Ickus,Oblina or Krumm(that guy rules)and you each have different scares and your scares are limited by monster manuals.You can't even jump on the opponents heads.You have to throw trash at them,which isn't that bad,
but there isn't a lot of trash in each level.Also the levels are very long and easily get boring.Even if I had
nothing to do I didn't play that.I never thought that an OK T.V. show turned into a boring piece of cartridge.

CONTROLS:(7/10)This is probably the only factor of ARM that is good.The controls don't stick most of the time and the controlling is very easy to learn and memorize.

MUSIC/SOUND:(1/10)ARM has gotta have the worst sound and music I've ever heard.Each level has almost the same type of music and each music is dull and low toned.To me it didn't fit well with the game and while playing,the music is sometimes what made it boring.The sounds are bad.Each time a monster screams it sounds like a door is opening.Bad bad bad sound.The only good sound would be the sound of turning it off.

GRAPHICS:(7/10)These graphics are pretty nice.The background seems very detailed and fits the tone and feel of the game.The programmers could've made a better job with it,but overall these are good graphics.

REPLAY:(0/10)Even if you liked this game and beat it you wouldn't play it again because it's so boring,but what you want to do is up to you.

OVERALL:(3/10)Not a first choice,but if you want to know how it is I suggest renting it,but don't buy it and make the same mistake I did.
