"Nice little Dinosaur... don't bite me now... AHH! I SAID DON'T BITE ME!"

Well if you're reading this, your probably saw the movie. The movie Jurassic Park is one the bets movies ever made. It featured groundbreaking technology. Now video game companies saw money in all this. Unfortunately few games were ever good. This game however was one of the few great ones. Though not well heard of, this game is virtually flawless with a few small exceptions.

Graphics- Good. On the 3rd person scale, everything looks pretty good and all dinosaurs look very detailed. The environments also look very good. Everything from bridges, cliffs, grass, ammo, and such all look very nice. The weapons all look and shoot realistic. In 1st person mode though, things are a little less detailed, but they still look good. It's crazy on how good this game looks.

Sound- Great. All the dinosaurs sound very realistic. Also your weapons also sound very realistic as well. The music is nice and helps add to the gameplay. They even have some real voices from the movie in there. All the other miscellaneous sounds (doors opening, power-ups, etc...) all sound pretty good as well and add to the experience.

Gameplay- Awesome. The story is the like the Jurassic Park Movie but with changes. You're Allan Grant and you're trying to escape. Also you must collect the raptor eggs so they don't hatch. Your path to victory becomes long, hard, and difficult. Now for the Elements. Half of the game is on overhead 3rd person view. The other is 1st person. When you're outside, it's 3rd person. When you're inside, it's 1st person. While inside, you can go into different rooms, shoot dinosaurs, find batteries (for night vision; you die if you go in a dark room without it), go in elevators (lovely music), and you pick up items by walking over them. While outside, you can jump, shoot, turn cranks with your gun, and you have to bend over to pick up items. while outside, enemies come out from the woods; Inside they are much easier visible. You one gun, which holds 2 different kinds of ammo. Different Ammo works better on different creatures. You will always have the stun function (used to kill dinosaurs and turn cranks). You have 5 lives. You're ammo and health are at the top of the screen outside and to the side inside. Health con be replenished with food or med-packs (both used as soon as picked up). You basically fight your way through the game, collecting everything so you can escape. Sometimes you need to find ID Cards and such to progress. Outside, checkpoints are little sliver poles. When you touch them you get some advice from a Jurassic Park Character (some is false advice so make sure you think about who gave it to you). Inside, it's simply where you entered the building or floor. The only real flaws are how sometimes a small crack in the bridge can cause your death if you walk over it, you can see your hat floating as if on water over the bridge. But other than that nothing real major. It's a great game.

In conclusion, this a great game. I'd say it's well worth the $10 they cost these days. Also who rents Super Nintendo games anymore anyway? With little flaw and good replay value, I give Jurassic Park for Super Nintendo a 9/10.
