"Goofy and Max never looked better!"

Hello, so you picked up Goof Troop for the Super Nintendo, eh? Well your in for one heck of a game. Not only does this game provide fun for you, but fun for your friend because of the Co-Operative play. Now, on with the show.

As you may or may not know, this game spans only 5 levels, but I'd like to call them worlds for they are much longer than levels. A levels length also depends on a couple of things: you skills at logic puzzles, if you play with a friend or not, and skills for bosses. You see, the friend aspect is key. Having a friend play along with you is great. First off, the ability to collaborate is wonderful. Having someone to help you out with bosses and fiends as well. The bosses can get pretty tough, as well. Overall the difficulty is moderate but is flexible on your abilities, like with almost any game. However the puzzles get more difficult, enough to hurt the score for this review sadly.

Graphics wise, there top notch for the SNES's 16-bit era. Capcom did a hell of a job with that 16-bit greatness. Its not blurry, scrambled or anything. You can make out what fiends and bosses are supposed to be, which is yet another good thing. In terms of sound, its great. Even simple sounds like throwing a barrel at your friends head is fun (and trust me, I know). From the music to the simple sounds mentioned above, perfection.

It terms of gameplay its great. Simple controls for operating different items and lifting objects and keys work fine. You don't move to slow or fast, but you do need good depth proficiency so you don't get yourself killed. Enemies die from a few barrel or item hits, so don't get stressed over the depth problem. It still plays GREAT!

For some last things, the game offers two playable characters, Goofy and Max. If doing co-op play, one of you two has to be Goofy and one Max. The only difference is Max funs faster and Goofy's more powerful when throwing items. There is also a passwords option at the menu which is great for going back after beating a hard world with an insanely hard boss. The re-playability is also great to go back and re-solve old puzzles or do things differently, basically, this game doesn't get old!

All in all, grab a friend(Marc...) and get ready. Buy this now. Its like 5$ also. 9/10
